French 1 features the latest updates on French culture and advice on relating to French-speaking neighbors in Canada, Europe, and around the world. Students will begin to develop proficiency in French grammar and will learn practical language content, such as greetings and taking leave, asking and answering simple questions to meet survival needs, ordering food, traveling, and sharing the gospel in a simple manner, all within the context of real-life situations.

French 2 builds on the foundation laid in French 1 while strengthening comprehension of the spoken and written language. The French educational materials also develops linguistic survival skills with an expansion of vocabulary and reading skills. Students will be exposed to French literature and various French dialects.


Latin 1

Latin 1

Latin 1 introduces students to basic Latin vocabulary and sentence structures. They learn Latin grammar, and each concept is addressed gradually in an inductive way. The teaching format allows a teacher who may not have any previous knowledge or experience in Latin to instruct the Latin course. The educational materials also provides a summary of Roman history from the kingdom to the Republic and an overview of mythological Roman gods and goddesses in the light of God’s Word.

Grammar, pronunciation, writing, listening, verb tenses, and moods are explained through a variety of exercises and Spanish dialogues.

Spanish 3 develops students’ mastery of vocabulary, oral communication skills, and grammatical structure with a special focus on verb forms. The text features true stories and letters from missionaries in Spanish-speaking countries. The Spanish educational materials teach the Spanish language as well as the culture.
